  15. Dear Freddie,

Why didn't you try harder when you were with the Eagles? Also, why in the HELL did you call out Rodney friggin' Harrison the week before the Super Bowl? Looking back, does it still seem like a good idea?

  16. Freddie: Why were you blackballed from the league after the Eagles let you go?

  17. I'm sure your hearing a bunch of crap from fans. Whatever though, you did something they never could do and you made me celebrate for the Eagles louder than ever with 4th & 26 and McNabb's 14 second scramble to hit you 60 yards later...I think some of the fans forget what you did. Thanks FredEx.

When are you coming back to TU? Saw you at a basketball game last year...don't worry about what people who talk shit have to say, 4th and 26 is forever to us true Eagles fans. Either way, why don't you open up a bbq shop in Philly, even though we already got like a million? tua39055@temple.edu, get back.

  24. FredEx Live! Wow. What an idea. I know some of the fans are bagging on you, but don't give up. This may be the best blog ever.

  25. Hey Freddie. Regardless of all the other nonsense, 4th & 26 and that 14-second scramble are 2 of the best plays I've ever seen.

Check out my Eagles blog at www.2minutestomidnightgreen.com

I'd love to talk with you personally. I'm an aspiring Eagles writer and I have my own site (above) and write for GCobb.com as well as having my writing featured on FOX, CBS, ESPN.com, and live on SportsCenter.

Look forward to hearing from you.

  26. Hey man. I didnt think you were bad at all. That Todd Pinkston tho..... That dude was lame man. Do you still talk to any eagles players?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Freddie,

On a serious note, why aren't you playing? I'm sure Dan Snyder would be willing to give you a contract.

  28. MR Mitchell thank you for the 4th and 26 but other then that you have been a bust I'm sure you are a kool dude ... are you still trying to get back in the league ? Have you tried out for the Cfl ? have you gotten any calls from NFL teams this season to come to camp......can you tell me what your 4 time was at the combine when you first came out ?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hey, freddie,

I'm sure you believe that you still have the talent to play in the NFL. Have you ever thought about coming up to Canada to play in the CFL for a few years? IT worked for guys like Garcia and Flutie. The competition is very good and the extra wide field would be suited to your style of play.

  30. Hey Freddie, im currently a footbal WR at my school and I just wanted to give a shout out sayin i look up to your gritty star-like style of play. I'm an Eagles fan as well and I just wanted to know how it felt to play for Andy Reid. I hear alot of stuff about Andy so I'm just curious how it went for you? Thanks Freddie, Peace

I have to say you did have potential Unfortunately, your vocal aspirations overshadowed your potential. As a lifelong Eagles fan, I still vividly remember your rare press conferences, most notably the week leading to the superbowl and you spouting off., again.. IF you kept quiet and did your job, you probably would still be an Eagle. You have lived every NFL fan's dream. You worked your butt of and succeeded in going to the next level. Wish you could have emulated someone like Jerry Rice, not T.O..

  32. Yo Freddie, check out our blog http://chroniclesofsealfon.blogspot.com/
we posted ur link on there as well. Good luck on catching on with a team this season. We could use you in KC.

  33. Fredex,
Big Fan. I always type your name into google to see what you've been up to recently. I see you sometimes at the sixers games chillin courtside. I understand that you are training hard and working out everyday, what are you doing to try and get in contact with teams to hopefully get a try out and start scoring touchdowns again and are you currently investing in any businesses as the eagles should've recognized you earlier with a $26 million bonus for that 4th and 26 play.

  34. Hey Freddie. If you did not catch my other comment, I wanted to know if you would be interested at all in helping me or something with my Eagles blog. I have 45 followers, and I'm sure if you would cooperate that many of my followers will likely follow your blog as well. Please let me know by replying to this comment when you can. Thanks alot, FredEx. :)

  35. Freddie - It would be too easy to come on here and rip you for your lack of talent, and too big of an ego, so I'm going to ask you a real question based on your comments. You say its about team wins, not your stats. But how exactly did you contribute to those wins?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Do you think that you could be a viable weapon for some of the younger QBs out there? Think Sanchez, Freeman or Stafford.

Also, do you think, since hitting 30, that you still have the burst and the speed to play at such a high level? Or would you be more of a slot guy, like Stokely or Jurevicious, who get it done without speed?

    ReplyDelete
  37. What do you think about the new Eagles receives? (DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin). I'm your number 1 fan. Come back! E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!! F-R-E-D-D-I-E! FREDDIE!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Freddie, now that training camp is right around the corner, are you talking to any teams about getting a try out? Thats the least they could do right?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hey Freddie, I used to work at Chickies & petes & there is one thing, you did better than any Philly athelete, & that is tip. I remember you never left anything less than a C-note, You truly were the peoples champ. Good luck with your comeback

  40. Freddie--
I always you had the glittering personality plus. You commented on some local TV reporters, how come you haven't made the leap to TV? I think you'd be amazing, maybe you should try out for the Real World or do a show with your buddy Mario Lopez. Great Blog. Check out mine at http://3putt.wordpress.com

  41. whats up fred, tell me how does it feel to be the biggest bust of the reid era?fred you werent blackbald, you were just too slow to play in the nfl.with a mouth like that, you need talent, thats where it went wrong.i hope other untalented players paid attention to your brief career because"BIG MOUTH+NO TALENT=XNFL playa"hows the pot thing going?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Come on bro....give it up please! 4th and 26 and the Dallas scramble were thanks to the Big Guy, Number 5. I don't know what drives me more nuts; you STILL trying to put the blame on everyone else or Eagles fans praising you...

To the fans.....the Eagles wasted a first round pick on BUST. Steve Smith, Chad Johnson, Chris Chambers, and Reggie Wayne were all still on the board....Imagine the team if we had one of them. Instead we got "FredEx" who did nothing and trashes the best QB the team ever had....WAKE UP

  43. Hey, remember when you said "I just want to say hello to the 'Company Man' " as a jab at McNabb at TO's bowling fundraiser? I'll bet your current travails really have him heartbroken. LOL
