Ask Freddie Mitchell ... from college football at UCLA, playing the Rose Bowl to his years with the Philadelphia Eagles, NFC Championship and playing in the Super Bowl. Now, "Freddie Mitchell Brother's BBQ" ... get the straight scoop from the man himself, right HERE!
Man they NEVER made you the first option... Why they didn't, with 14 yards per reception on the career is beyond me...
ReplyDeleteI still remember that play, pretty incredible and very cool!
ReplyDeleteHey Freddie do you remember talking smak before the super bowl and getting completed housed by the New England Patriots defense? What are you up to these days. I think the Arena football league is out of of business.
ReplyDeleteSerious question, and please don't take this as negative. Would you ever consider playing in a lesser football league (CFL or upcoming UFL, for instance), just so you could dominate there and show the NFL that you're still worthy of a roster spot? It might also show NFL folks that even though you're a confident guy, you're also willing to work hard to earn your way onto the field and not have it just handed to you.
ReplyDeleteToo many people (er, reporters) equate confidence with being a jerk, and don't see the difference. And too many NFL people rely on reports from those people. How are you going to win them over if you're not playing somewhere?
Yo Freddieeee. Don't listen to the haters. I believe you WILL be back in the nfl giving you infamous celebration ( the one where you put you hands by your waist and show the champ belt). YOU ARE THE MANNNNN
ReplyDeleteI'd just like to thank this blog for being so great.

FredEX: Loved you as a player. Great personality and hands like glue. As a Detroit fan, I would have loved to see you as a Lion but we like to draft our receivers in the top 10 (haha)..
ReplyDeleteI run a food blog at http://www.epicportions.com. What's this BBQ spot you have now all about? I'm going to run a feature on you. Give me something to write about! I'll give you some props.
Keep on keepin on, hope to see you back in the NFL one day.
That was the greatest Eagles moment. I was at my brothers house and everyone gaqve up on the team. I told everyone calm down the Eagles still have a chance. Then you made that catch. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteWhy did Donovan McNabb hardly ever throw the ball your way. I remember you said you were doing jumping jacks in the end zone. Also I remember you caught one ball and pointed to your watch. Did you guys argue or just get off on the wrong foot?
Hey Fre-Ex, I live right outside of Phila (Havertown) and have always been a huge fan of yours. Whenever there is news about you I always get excited. You are an exciting person!!! Keep doing big things and hope to see you in the league soon. Ever thought about rekindling your baseball career?? You still talk to Utley?? Keep everyone posted. You a star homie!!
ReplyDeleteI was there for that game - it was a GREAT catch between 2 defenders. Don’t give up on your dream FM you can make it back.
ReplyDeleteFreddie, just want you to know I will never, ever forget 4th and 26.
